The africa Medtech challenge is a competition launched by the pharmaceutical company Sothema and the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University of Morocco. It is a call to innovative companies that leverage technology to develop the most innovative treatments in health.

The whole idea is to take healthcare to the next level. Whether you work with big data, AI, API or robotics, you have the opportunity to showcase your solutions to revolutionise medicine.

The five open categories

To enter the competition, choose one of these categories :

• Digital technologies

Prizes offered

The selected participants will win :

• a personalized support by Sothema experts according to the needs of their project,
• access to technical resources provided by Sothema,
• a spotlight on the communication channels of Sothema and ENRICH in Africa,
• an invitation to the final event in Cape Town on 15 June,
• a license for the Accelerator Squared online platform.

At the final event ceremony, you will have the opportunity to present your project at the AU-EU Innovation Festival in front of innovation experts from Sothema and the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University and to meet key players of the European and African innovation ecosystem.
