The Cheikh Hamidou Kane Digital University (UN-CHK) is recruiting tutors with an annual statutory post for the year 2025. This call for applications concerns the following disciplinary fields :

- QUALIFICATION LEVELS
Candidates must hold at least a Master's degree (or a qualification deemed equivalent) in one of the subject areas listed above.
A lower level of qualification may be accepted where the candidate is a professional with significant experience (at least 5 years of professional practice). In this case, the candidate will have to provide, in addition to his/her application file, any document that can attest to the quality of his/her professional experience.

3. RECRUITMENT START AND END DATES, AND RENEWAL ARRANGEMENTS
The recruitment of tutors will take effect from 1st April 2025 and will end on 31st March 2026. In case of recruitment during the month, the first monthly remuneration will be determined pro rata to the days tutored during the month.
The tutorship contract may be renewed a maximum of three times. The tutor's contract is renewed under the same conditions as their recruitment. In the event of the tutor failing to meet his/her teaching and administrative obligations, the UN-CHK reserves the right to terminate the collaboration, in accordance with the terms and procedures defined for this purpose in the Tutorship Charter.
4. SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO TUTORSHIP CONTRACTS
Any tutor recruited by the UN-CHK will be made available to one of the divisions (STN, SEJA, LSHE, PIED) according to his or her disciplinary field and/or statutory duties.
Each tutor recruited will also be attached administratively and/or pedagogically to one of the UN-CHK's Open Digital Spaces (ENO). The duties associated with exam supervision will be carried out in this ENO. The specific terms and conditions relating to the assignment of tutors are defined in the Tutoring Charter.
5. CONDITIONS FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATIONS
Applications must be submitted between Wednesday 12 March 2025 and Tuesday 25 March 2025 (23:59).

Applications must include the following documents:
- a CV ;
- a covering letter ;
- a photocopy of diplomas (master's degree or equivalent, thesis, etc.) ;
- a photocopy of the certificate of enrolment for the thesis and/or submission of the thesis (for doctoral students);
- any document, if necessary, attesting to the applicant's professional and/or distance teaching experience (certificates of service, employment contracts, letters of reference, etc.);
- for candidates applying for categories 1 and 2, a sworn statement to the effect that they are not in full-time or part-time employment (outside UN-CHK).
