Samsung announces the Galaxy Book Flex and Ion

Equipped with Qled displays, reversible wireless charging, 10th generation Core processors, Wi-Fi 6 and Thunderbolt 3 ports, these two ultraportable devices will be launched in early 2020.

Samsung took advantage of its developer conference to unveil two new laptops and 2 in 1, both equipped with a Qled technology display (13 or 15 inches), a first on laptops, the Qi compatible reversible wireless charging found on the latest Galaxy S10 and Note 10 smartphones, a Wi-Fi 6 connection, Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C ports and 10th generation Intel Core i processors.

The Galaxy Book Flex is a 2 in 1 with a 360 degree hinge that transforms it into a laptop or tablet. It is compatible with the S-Pen stylus and its gesture-based control system. The Galaxy Ion is an ultraportable that plays on its light weight (970 grams for the 13-inch model) and its thinness (12.9 mm to 14.9 mm) with a magnesium chassis. Both models will be available in the United States in early 2020. Their price and availability in other countries have not been communicated.
