Oppo: Reno 2 is the new smartphone release

A quadruple camera module and a screen announced as brighter... these are the main new features of the second edition of the Reno d'Oppo. Is that enough to make a difference?

In the latter, there is a 48 Mpix main sensor with a wide-angle (f/1.7), a 13 Mpix sensor with a telephoto lens (f/2.4) for an announced x2 zoom ratio, an 8 Mpix sensor with an ultra-wide-angle (f/2.2) attached and a sensor dedicated to depth of field.
Almost the same for the other characteristics:
For the rest, the Oppo Reno 2 is a near copy and paste of the Reno. Like his elder brother, he hides his front camera in a shark fin to eliminate any unsightly edges around the screen. From 6.5 inches instead of 6.4 inches, its tile also switches from Super AMOLED to Dynamic AMOLED, the latest Samsung technology. Its brightness is slightly improved (according to our first measurements 518 cd/m2 instead of 446 cd/m2) and the blue light is emitted in smaller quantities to protect the user's eyes.
The mobile phone includes the Snapdragon 730G processor, 8 GB of RAM and a 4000 mAh battery. It is recharged by USB Type-C and works with the SuperVOOC 3.0 fast charging technology, which allows you to recover 100% autonomy in 1h34 according to our measurements. In short, you will have understood it, it is a mid-range smartphone rather well equipped but quite commonplace. And which does not evolve frankly, except in pictures, compared to its predecessor.
