New features of Google's Pixel Tablet !

A Twitter user has released new images of the Pixel Tablet that confirm the sleek design and rounded lines of the Google-branded slate. Despite the fact that the Pixel Tablet is a bit of a boilerplate, Google is aiming for the Pixel Tablet to become a true all-rounder, a more versatile Nest Hub of sorts.

Twitter member SnoopyTech has released images suggesting that the Pixel Tablet and its dock will focus on functionality and data security. Looking at the leaker's photos, there's a new button on the top right edge, near the camera lens, when facing the screen.

According to 9 To 5 Google, this could be a button/slider to physically obstruct the lens or mute the device's microphone. A feature that will ensure that users are not eavesdropped on or filmed without their knowledge. There are also two long speaker-like cut-outs on the right side of the device. According to the leaker, these could be the external keyboard connectors.

Pixel Tablet will protect your data with a button

Google apparently wants to make the Pixel Tablet a control centre for all devices in the home. That's why the company will offer its new gadget with a set of accessories such as a dock with built-in audio speakers, which will make it a tool that can be used daily by all members of the family, a companion role "for everyone". As the Nest Hub is gradually being stripped of popular features, especially for children, it looks like Google will be pushing the Pixel Tablet.

However, little is known about Google's future tablet. It should be powered by a Tensor G2 processor, the same one found in the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, and its screen could have a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, for a diagonal of 11 inches. Storage could be up to 256GB. Recent rumours claim that the Mountain View firm has abandoned the idea of introducing a Pro model, to focus on a single slate.
