Motorola unveils Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 E6 Play

The G8 Plus Motorcycle (above) seems to have an obscene number of cameras, but the design is a little misleading. There is a 25 megapixel selfie camera facing forward in a small notch at the front, and at the rear, a column of five aligned camera elements. Only two of these cameras are cameras that you can use, however. The main sensor is 48MP, and there is an 8MP wide angle camera underneath. Moto also has a 2MP depth sensor that allows you to take portrait pictures. There is also a laser autofocus sensor that looks like a camera. The flash is at the bottom of the column.

It is a fairly large phone with a 6.3-inch 1080p LCD screen and a 4,000 mAh battery. This is 1,000 mAh more than the Moto G7 Plus at the beginning of the year, but the new phone only supports 15W instead of 27W. Inside, we have a 665 Snapdragon, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

The G8 Plus Motorcycle will be launched in the UK in January for £239 (€269), and will be extended to other markets later. However, the United States is not one of these markets.
