The Blue Tech Challenge, organised by CAMTEL, aims to identify and promote Cameroon's technological talent. The aim is to stimulate innovation and support the development of a strong digital industry in Cameroon.

Who can take part ?

The targets of the Blue Tech Challenge are :

• Cameroonian technology start-ups under 5 years old
• Students and researchers in the digital field
• Students from technical secondary schools
• PhD and pre-doctoral students from research laboratories

Prize categories

The prizes are as follows :

• Prize for the best Tech start-up
• Prize for the best university or high school project
• Prize for the best tech start-up for women
• Prize for technological innovation for disabled people.    

The winners will receive cash prizes and support to develop their projects. They will also have the opportunity to meet potential investors and mentors.

How do I apply ?

Applications must be submitted online or on paper before 23 June 2024. The competition is open to Cameroonians of all ages and backgrounds; projects submitted must be innovative and have a positive impact on Cameroonian society.
