Initiated in 2016 by Tech4Dev, a not-for-profit organisation, the Women Techsters scholarship aims to reduce the digital divide between the genders and promote access to decent work in Africa. 

Aim of the grant

More specifically, the programme aims to :
- Help African women develop technical skills that are in high demand on the job market.
- Empower women by giving them the tools they need to launch a career in the technology sector or set up their own business.

Benefits of the scholarship

The Women Techsters scholarship includes :
- Free one-year training in the following areas : software development, cybersecurity, data science, mobile application development, product design and management.
- Support throughout the programme to facilitate their professional integration.
- The opportunity to join a network of women in technology and access new career opportunities.

Eligibility criteria

To apply, candidates must : 
- Be an African woman aged between 16 and 40
- Reside in one of the 30 eligible countries
- Have a passion for technology and a desire to learn.

3.    An interview
