Microsoft is finally about to unveil Surface Book 3 and Surface Go 2

Microsoft is about to lift the veil on Surface Book 3 and Surface Go 2, reveals a leak. A dedicated presentation is planned for May. The latest information available on the technical data sheet of the two devices was reviewed.

Citing "sources close to the company's plans", The Verge says that Microsoft will introduce several new products in the Surface range in the coming weeks. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the Redmond-based firm is reportedly planning a launch in early May. Unsurprisingly, Microsoft will be satisfied with an online conference, containment obliges, or a press release.

Surface Book 3 is therefore preparing to succeed Surface Book 2 launched at the end of 2017. According to information obtained from online retailers, the laptop will be powered by a 10th generation Intel processor supported by up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. As a reminder, Surface Book 2 was limited to 16 GB of RAM. Finally, Microsoft would opt for Nvidia's Quadro graphics cards on certain variants. These GPUs are reserved for professional use, 3D animation and design in particular.

At the same time, Microsoft would also launch a Surface Go 2, a new 2-in-1 tablet to replace the Surface Go marketed since the summer of 2018. This time, the tablet would be built around a 10.5-inch screen surrounded by thin borders. The Surface Go 2 would be powered by an Intel Core m3 or Intel Pentium Gold processor (for power-hungry users) coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Microsoft would propose the tablet in cellular version (with a 4G connection). We'll tell you more as soon as possible.
