From 31 May to 4 June 2021, Microsoft is organising a digital skills and employment forum called Digital Skills Week. This is an event dedicated to skills development and how to use your expertise to innovate and support growth and employment.

Sessions, workshops and training will be held every day and will focus on how business leaders can stimulate inclusive and sustainable growth, and give people the opportunity to pursue a career in the IT sector.

During this week dedicated to digital transformation, Global Knowledge is offering a workshop, free training and promotional training offers.

Workshop

Global Knowledge is one of the largest training groups in the world (dedicated to IT and methods), with more than 3,000 training courses to help organisations around the world develop the skills of their employees and share best practices. During this workshop, Global Knowledge will present an overview of training funding schemes in this Covid period.

This is a free 30-minute online workshop that will take place on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 starting at 2:45 pm (CET Paris).

Global Knowledge is also offering you the opportunity to attend the free one-day Microsoft training on "Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals". You will learn the basics of security, compliance and identity concepts and Microsoft's cloud-based solutions. You will also prepare for your SC-900 certification, thanks to the official course material that will be given to each participant. The course will take place on 2 and 4 June 2021. You will be able to book the day that suits you best depending on your availability.

The objectives of the training are as follows:

- Describe security, compliance and identity concepts: security methodologies, security concepts, Microsoft security and compliance principles, Microsoft Identity and Access Management Solutions features.

- Describe the capabilities of Microsoft Identity and Access Management Solutions: basic identity services and identity types of Azure AD, authentication capabilities of Azure AD, access management capabilities of Azure AD, identity protection and governance capabilities of Azure AD.

- Describe the capabilities of Microsoft security solutions: basic security capabilities in Azure, security management capabilities of Azure, security capabilities of Azure Sentinel, threat protection with Microsoft 365 Defender, security management capabilities of Microsoft 365, endpoint security with Microsoft Intune.

- Describe the capabilities of Microsoft compliance solutions: Microsoft compliance management capabilities, Microsoft 365 information protection and governance capabilities, Microsoft 365 internal risk capabilities, Microsoft 365 e-discovery capabilities, Microsoft 365 audit capabilities, Azure resource governance capabilities.

The training will be delivered remotely and will be conducted in French by a Microsoft certified instructor. Links will be provided to you upon registration. Please note that seats are limited.
