Company: The new coronavirus tracking tool developed by the Bing teams is available at bing.com/covid.

Microsoft's Bing team launched this Sunday a web portal for tracking Covid-19 infections worldwide.

"Many Bing people have been working (from home) over the past week to create an authoritative mapping and information resource for Covid-19 information," said Michael Schechter, general manager of Bing growth and distribution at Microsoft.

The website, accessible at bing.com/covid, is a basic tracking tool. It provides up-to-date infection statistics for every country in the world. The data are aggregated from authoritative sources such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC). Clicking on a country on the map provides access to the latest infection statistics, as well as the latest local news on Covid-19.
