Digitalisation in Morocco : citizens can now legalise their signatures and certified copies electronically
Casablanca is taking a further step towards modernisation by offering electronic authentication of signatures and certified copies. This innovative service, available at the Yacoub El Mansour administrative annex, allows citizens to complete their formalities online, without having to travel, and saving precious time.
Thanks to the wraqi.ma platform, people can now legalise a wide range of documents, from certificates of residency to sales contracts and declarations on honour.
The process is simple and secure. The citizen applicant goes to the electronic counter with their identity document. The agents enter their personal details into the system and propose several identity verification methods, such as electronic signature or facial
signature or facial recognition. A confirmation code is then sent by email or SMS to finalise the operation.
This initiative, which is part of the Maroc Digital 2030 strategy, is set to be rolled out nationwide throughout the country. It marks a significant step forward in the
public services and demonstrates the Moroccan authorities' determination to make life
to make life easier for citizens.
