The Agritech Innovation Challenge is on !
Cameroon launches the Agritech Innovation Challenge : a call for innovation for the digital transformation of the agropastoral sector.
The Cameroon government has announced the launch of the Agritech Innovation Challenge, a competition aimed at stimulating innovation and the adoption of digital solutions in the agropastoral sector. The initiative, supported by the World Bank, is part of Cameroon's Digital Transformation Acceleration Project (PATNUC).
Competition objectives
The competition aims to :
- Promote emulation in the agropastoral sector
Encourage digital inclusion
Promote the use of digital agricultural solutions
The competition, which is open to Cameroonian start-ups, is organised around several activities: B2B fairs, a conference-debate and a pitch competition. The 10 winning start-ups will each receive FCFA 40 million.
The deadline for applications is 20 August 2024, on the PATNUC platform.
