The Elevate Africa 2025 scholarship is open to applications. It aims to
empower mid-career African professionals by providing them with the tools and network to accelerate their leadership journey to contribute to the development of the African continent. 

 

Fellowship structure

The Elevate Africa Fellowship programme offers a multi-dimensional learning experience designed to build leadership capacity and foster collaboration. Key elements of the programme include :

Workshops and learning sessions : Fellows participate in immersive, hands-on workshops led by experienced African leaders.
These sessions focus on three pillars : leadership development, catalytic innovations and narrative transformation in an African context. Participants benefit from instructor-led sessions, peer-led case analyses and exclusive conversations with experts and global leaders.
Learning and networking : Fellows benefit from in-depth peer-to-peer and across generations, sharing diverse perspectives and solutions.
This creates a collaborative environment where Fellows can learn from each other and build lasting relationships between sectors.
They also have the opportunity to be exposure to captains of industry and world leaders.
End-of-studies leadership project : Each Fellow undertakes a high-impact project of their choice, designed to of their choice, designed to address a significant challenge in their sector or community. These projects are monitored and reviewed to their applicability and impact in the real world.
Mentoring and coaching : personalised mentoring and coaching sessions offer tailored advice, helping Fellows to refine their leadership style and accelerate their personal and professional growth.
Engagement : At the end of the Fellowship, Fellows join an exclusive network of African leaders, with ongoing access to resources, collaboration opportunities and thought leadership platforms.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria :

- Be mid-career professionals between the ages of 25 and 45, with 10 to 15 years of experience in their respective fields and a strong track record of leadership and excellence.
- Be of African origin and demonstrate a commitment to the continent, even if you live outside Africa.

- Demonstrated leadership in professional or community contexts and clearly demonstrated your ability to make a positive impact.
- Have demonstrated your commitment to social change and community development.
- Demonstrate an ability to think in systems terms and to dream big, with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Demonstrate a desire to grow as a leader and contribute to your communities and sectors through the Fellowship experience.
- Be able to demonstrate how you are helping to influence, shape and promote positive narratives across the continent.
